BOWLING & BROKERS: CULTIVATING INDUSTRY RELATIONSHIPS

PROJECT AT STREAM REALTY PARTNERS

PROJECT

Stream Realty Partners wanted to host a networking event for other brokerage firms in the area in an effort to cultivate relationships in the new year.

A bowling outing was determined as the best venue that would allow brokers to mingle and engage in some healthy competition.

CONCEPT

The event name “Bowling and Brokers” was developed, playing on the alliteration of the “B”s. Bowling shirts were created to generate excitement leading up to the event. Shirts were hand delivered to select brokers who had RSVP’d in advance in the hopes that this would secure their attendance. Remaining shirts were given away at the event while supplies were available. The broker incentive for attending was $50. The hydroflasks were branded with custom decals of the event logo. Attached to the hydroflask was a $50 Visa gift card enclosed in an envelpoe that said, “thank you for coming”.

Bowling scorecards were created to track the scores of each two person team. The first place team won $1,500, second place team won $1,000, third place team won $500, and the lowest score won $100.


ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY 

This project required working directly members from our leasing team to hand select invitees, and the venue. Responsibilities included design management, concept creation and event branding, event planning, vendor selection and day of event setup and execution.

MEASURING SUCCESS

The event was well received by the brokerage community, as well as the leasing team at Stream. The event had over 24 attendees with attendance at 89%. A full recap of the event can be found, here.
