WHISKEY HOUNDS: Crafting a Brand with Bite

Whiskey Hounds is a lifestyle brand rooted in good spirits, loyal company, and unapologetic character. Tasked with building the brand from the ground up, I developed a complete visual identity that captured the brand's rugged charm and canine-inspired charisma — starting with a custom logo and expanding across all branded collateral and promotional materials.

CONCEPT

At the heart of the brand identity is a silhouette of the founder’s Irish Wolfhound — a stately and loyal companion who became the unofficial mascot of the Whiskey Hounds pack. The custom mark was designed to strike a balance between bold simplicity and distinguished detail, making it adaptable across a variety of applications, from digital assets to packaging and merchandise.


ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY 

I developed all brand copy and voice strategy, infusing every tagline, product descriptor, and campaign headline with clever, dog-inspired language. From phrases like “Sniff. Sit. Stay.” to “We’ve Got The Nose For This”, the tone balances grit with warmth — staying true to the spirit of the name and the nature of the beast behind it.


With the brand identity firmly in place, I executed a suite of branded collateral and promotional materials, including business cards, labels, apparel mockups, and custom whiskey glass coins — all carrying forward the signature silhouette and a voice that howls with personality.

RESULTS

The final brand system is both memorable and meaningful — distinct in its aesthetic and grounded in story. Whiskey Hounds now walks confidently with a cohesive identity, a recognizable logo, and a consistent voice that resonates with customers and canines alike.
